Responsibilities: We are looking for a person with experience of caring for children. Reporting to the senior working that shift, the successful applicant will be caring for children from 3mths to 5 years across all four areas of the nursery. Qualifications & Skills: This is an unqualified position, but must have a commitment to providing high quality childcare. Experience of caring for children in a similar environment is essential.
Maintain the standards of daily care.
Keep order in the room establishing a positive routine.
Keep the room clean and tidy.
Maintain toys and equipment, ensuring they are safe and meets current legislations.
Ensure the EYFS is being followed.
Develop a working relationship with parents/carers, children and staff.
Attend training courses and staff meetings as necessary.
Planning is up to date, interesting and age appropriate.
Attend staff and parents evening as and when required after work.
Working Pattern
Required from 4pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
